Have yourself a Merry Christmas...

My apologies for the long hiatus! As of this entry onwards, all updates will be on this blog so its goodbye to wordpress!
What i've been doing while not blogging: movies, work, shopping, & pigging out. All the usual stuff i've always been doing. I watched Bolt and Yesman - both were pretty good but i especially love animation (i call them cartoons). Didn't catch the 3D version though, cuz i felt the tix were kinda pricey & not worth paying just for the so-called 3D effects. Yesman was both a feel-gd/comedic movie, & i enjoyed it cuz i felt it motivated me to be more positive abt life. But dun say yes because u have to, say it bcuz u want to!
Last Fri was the last stint for the Diageo Guardian Angel anti-drinkdriving campaign & its been both tiring & fulfilling. Our ambassador this year - Denise Keller - pitched in to help us spread the msg as well. Here r some photos taken from the week before:

I honestly thought it was really cool of her to come along with us instead of just being the type of ambassador who only pays lip service without doing anything concrete. Her presence alone added some 'star quotient' to our campaign, so hopefully it helped to get ppl to sit up & take notice of the importance of responsible drinking.
I also bumped into Sam whilst out doing the anti-drinkdriving roving & i was SOOooo happy to see her! Haven seen her in such a long time since she graduated from NUS & got a fulltime job. I still rem the many events i did with her - including last year's anti-drindriving campaign where she was also an angel. Me & Sam:

I really missed the girl & the fun we had while working as well as the shopping sprees we went on. We even visited 4 diff Mango outlets @ Orchard rd during their sale once! Haha those were the days...
We had some Xmas cake at the office on the last night of the campaign. The cake was so pretty i just had to take a snapshot of it:

So cute right?! In the shape of a red gitftbox complete with gold ribbon & it tasted yummy too. The cake felt like a great treat after ending a long campaign on a late night. Gonna miss working with everyone though - Gary, Patience, Shino, Alfian & Christine & even the peeps like Audrey & Angel from Lumina, the events company in charge.
Somewhere along the week i was out with Mr. X & we decide to stop for coffee @ Spinelli's. I ordered a caramel latte (anything with caramel goes for me) & my coffee was so pretty! They used caramel to create a flower on the froth on top of my coffee:

Haha! It's so sweet. Too bad i had to drink it & ruin such a nice piece of work.
Moving on to more food pictures:

Mr. X told me abt this waffle factory place @ Paya Lebar Post Centre where u pay $8.80 & u get to eat-all-u-want waffles. Since i was in the area shopping with my sis, i decided to give it a try. I was even lucky enough to get a table immediately & the scent of the waffles was really inviting! I wanted to eat 8 waffles but in the end i was stuffed after finishing my 6th waffle. I had the durian, oreo, strawberry choc, kaya, fruit loops & nacho cheese flavors & i really wanted their butter corn waffle, but it was sold out. Disappointing! I paid for a buffet yet i didn't get to eat the flavor i really wanted. A word of warning though: the other food items on their menu really sucked. I had a really bland chocolate float & a really crappy shittaki mushroom spaghetti. Their pasta sauce was so bad even i could cook something better out with a bottle of prego sauce.
Me sinking my 1st bite into the oreo waffle:

BHD (Bad Hair Day)! I was actually wearing a cap the whole time - just that i removed it to snap this pic haha.
Xmas time is near! I kinda found something i'd really like for Xmas so it's now on my wishlist:

The actual pendant i want is not this but this is the closest item i could find on their online catalouge. My object of desire is in a heart shape engraved with 'i love you' all over which i saw in Vivi magazine. I love Tiffany & Co. stuff but i honestly think its too extravagant for me. I still consider myself a relatively down-to-earth person & these things? I can do without:)
Have yourself a merry Xmas everyone! Be with the ones u love & those who love u.
